As the days grow longer and the Oxford sunshine begins to make a more regular appearance, your East Oxford favourite pub is once again throwing open its gates and welcoming locals to enjoy summer in style.
The garden at the The Black Swan on Crown Street is officially open for the season, offering one of the city’s most vibrant outdoor spaces for friends, families and sports fans alike. Nestled just off the bustling Cowley Road, the pub has built a reputation for combining traditional pub charm with a lively social atmosphere, and its expansive outdoor area is a major part of our appeal.
For many Oxford residents, summer isn’t truly underway until they’ve enjoyed a cold drink in a pub garden, and The Black Swan’s outdoor space is perfectly positioned to become a go-to destination over the coming months. The garden provides plenty of room to relax, catch up with friends or simply soak up the sunshine after a busy day. With covered sections and outdoor facilities, it’s designed to be enjoyed throughout the season, whatever the British weather decides to do.
We have lots planned over the summer, with events, music and sport, especially as the country gets into the World Cup mood (it’s definitely coming home this time by the way). Stay tuned to find out what we have going on. Better still, pop in for a pint and see for yourself.
There is nothing better than sitting outside and enjoying your favourite drink with friends in the sunshine. We can’t think of a better place to do that than at The Black Swan!
